Fun literacy and crafting sessions for your little ones!
Sign your little one (3 or 4 year old) up for Litcrafts with Mrs. Andraka. I am a PA certified teacher offering fun-filled craft activities that are rooted in children's literature! Each session will be one hour and include a short story time, followed by some reading comprehension questions, and a craft inspired by that day's storybook. Litcrafts with Mrs Andraka will take place on Thursday mornings from 9:30-10:30am and on last Saturdays of most months from 9:30-10:30am right next to Leeland Park in Conshohocken Pa. There is on street parking available and parents can feel free to roam Leeland Park with other kiddos while your child is engaged in his or her literacy activity. Our Sessions
Engaging hour-long storytime and crafts for ages 3-4.
Story Time
The session begins with a storybook being read aloud. The book line-up will be posted in advance so that you can select which book your student would be most interested in hearing.
Comprehension
Interactive questions about characters and the book's main idea will help kids understand and connect with stories. The ultimate goal is to help student make connections and improve reading comprehension.
Craft projects, inspired by the day’s story, bring the book to life and give students a take home object to remind them of what they've read that day.
